I'm not sure what the designers were thinking, but this holder is incredibly wobbly, even when used with lightweight microphones. But judging by the build quality, you'd think it could handle a lot of weight. The problem is the small pieces of rubber that the mount sits on. This is the only thing that separates the mount from the hot shoe adapter. Any mic you put in this thing will cause the plastic to bend, and because it's so thin it bends a lot. So instead of a good, solid mic mount, you get a wobbly, down-firing mic. Almost all of my mics face down due to the flexibility of the plastic. ALSO VERY IMPORTANT, a gust of wind will make your mic bounce around all over the place causing your camera to move which will affect your recording. FOR €50?!?!?! ARE YOU KIDDING ME? BACK TO THE DRAWING BOARD! I RETURNED MINE!
