I used a single and double crochet hook to reattach and fix some of the swollen curls I had. It worked wonderfully!

This tool is the best, I started my strands with 2 strands but they unraveled and the Process just took too long for me so I gave it a try and decided to tie/tap my own hair. When I say it turned out so beautiful, my god, I'm in love with my little curls. I added a before and after photo along with a video of one day I finished crocheting all my hair straight away (my ends are loose/curly so they are puffy like in the video).

I use these hooks to set permanent dreadlocks myself. I was able to install my first dreadlock within 5 minutes of opening the Amazon package! The three tools are thin and strong, so the grip feels very precise to capture all those fine hairs. I am very satisfied with this set. I keep my own dreadlocks and it's really easier to just take the time to watch a few movies and use a hook, it just seems like there's more control, especially on the weak spots to really get in and tie the knot living close inside.
