Nice addition to my sewing feet!

I made zippered bags for the holidays and this foot came in really handy as I wanted to sew evenly spaced stitches which makes each bag look so professional!

You need it! - Presser Feet

I've been sewing for 43 years and this is my new favorite foot. It keeps the fabric straight on both sides as you sew, so stitch accuracy is improved even when you don't need guides to measure.

Pros
  • Elegant Design
Cons
  • Neutral Color

Make perfectly matched rows and columns of decorative stitches.

This one Walking is a lot of fun and easy to use. You can precisely adjust columns or rows of decorative stitches. Great for embellishing your clothes or home decor projects. I've also used it to create lines in quilt projects. You don't have to deal with random movements of the stepping rod when you use this little foot instead.

Pros
  • Fits all Singer low shank* sewing machines (some Singers require a low shank adapter), Brother, Babylock, Euro-Pro, Janome, Kenmore, White, Juki, New Home, Simplicity, Necchi and Elna
Cons

This may not work with certain size needles.

I accidentally bought 2 from different stores. One cost $5.95 and the other $15.95. They are both the same and neither will fit my Janome with a topstitch needle. The needle continues to hit the instep. I could use a smaller needle but then I wouldn't get the topstitch effect. I want to use different motif styles, not just straight stitch. Bottom line, this leg doesn't perform as I had hoped. "Let the buyer be alert".

Pros
  • Makes tasks easier to complete that can be very tedious by hand
Cons
  • Large and bulky

How did I get by without this thing?

How did I manage without this clear, wide foot? That's great! Although I don't machine quilt much, I can now sew very straight top stitches because I can see where I'm sewing and follow the lines on the sides of the presser foot. I have almost completely replaced my metal stand that came with my Brother machine with this clear plastic stand. The only problem I had was sewing on a fusible pad that was ironed onto the fabric; wide plastic tends to snag and "sew in place" at the interface.

Pros
  • Having curb alignment or alignment issues? Now the edging foot will help you to easily match the edging design to the red lines of the foot. No row pre-marking required
Cons
