The chances of successfully burning a usable DVD are too slim!

10 successfully burned DVDs and 5 unreadable - that's not good at all! If you're considering buying SmartBuy, keep looking. This purchase is unreasonable! And no, my DVD recorders are fine.

Pros
  • great for me
Cons
  • weak

They seem to be considered obsolete. Apparently if you want to buy a DVD/VHS player/recorder you have to pay an exorbitant used car price - always a risky proposition, I've bought them before with no problems. I expect to use them to record daily press releases for some time. I still play VHS tapes and DVDs that I've accumulated over the past 25 years or so.

Pros
  • Positive only
Cons
  • old

Come back you are the best

There's nothing wrong with these DVDs I buy them there at affordable prices I see them sneak up on the prices They know they haven't noticed the People buy more and more types They are really good, smart shopping is really good. I ordered them for my boyfriend but god bless him that's why he's not here anymore

Pros
  • A dream come true
Cons

Good deal DVD-R

It's pretty cheap for the amount of discs you get. I used about half of the first pack and so far there have only been about 2 that didn't work (2/50 isn't bad) and I think at least 1 was my fault (the laptop shook too much when typing). ). The write speed is about the same as any other brand I've bought in the past. The only downside, as others have pointed out, is that there is no "container" for drives. They are simply wrapped in plastic wrap. But for the quality and price I would buy it…

Pros
  • Nice
Cons
  • Clarity

I am completely impressed with the quality of these DVDs.

I just burned 18 movies onto 18 DVDs. (only 44.4GB) and not a single marriage, and the playback quality is excellent. Each DVD is labeled to make it easier to write down the content. Don't waste your money buying so-called "brands". These are quality DVDs. Update: I just recorded and burned two more movies with two DVDs = 7.7GB without any problems and the playback quality is excellent.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Updates

Get blank DVD-Rs if you plan to use them when they're no longer available.

You seem to be out of date. Apparently if you want to buy a DVD/VHS player/recorder you have to pay an exorbitant price for a used car - always a risky proposition. I've bought them before and had no problems. I expect to use them for some time to record daily press releases. I still play VHS tapes and DVDs that I've accumulated over the past 25 years or so.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • The list will be long.

UNBEATABLE PRICE! BUT RESERVE YOUR OLD DISC SPINDLES!

THESE DISCS HAVE REALLY TESTED FOR PICTURE QUALITY, THIS IS A FOUR HOUR RECORDING MODE. MANY MOVIES EXCEED 2 HOURS DISC, SOMETIMES JUST 5 MIN. AND YOU DO NOT WANT TO BURN ANOTHER DISC DURING THE LAST 5 MINUTES. IF YOUR DVD RECORDER DOES NOT HAVE FLEX RECORDING (ADJUST RECORDING SPACE TO 2 HOURS AND 9 MINUTES), YOU MUST USE 4 HOUR MODE. AND THESE DISCS PASSED THIS TEST. AT 17 CENTS PER DISK, THIS IS A VIDEOPHIL'S DREAM! BUT THERE IS NO SPINDLE TO KEEP IT STABLE WHEN OPENING! HOW TO OPEN THEM…

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Negative available

great quality im so impressed

we record our favorite shows to watch on the weekends and i have been doing this for at least 20 years. These SmartBuy branded blank discs work better than any major brand I have purchased in the past. Even my buddy mentioned that they seem to provide a clearer picture when playing our recorded TV shows. Also, I haven't had any bug issues, signal loss or recording errors and so far I haven't found a single defect in my first 200. It outperforms all others and I've tried them all: Phillips…

Pros
  • easy to use
Cons
  • good overall but...
