No minuses as such, comfortable to use.

My personal overall conclusion: Garmin has some work to do. The market is moving towards this class of watch. And if earlier there were few competitors, now they appear (judging by the reviews on YouTube). I do not deny that over time I will switch to another brand. Therefore, I think that in terms of price-quality ratio, something is clearly missing, and I don’t see the point in overpaying money for unnecessary functionality. And so the clock is on a solid, confident 4ku.

Pros
  • Review compared to Phoenix 5 Prior to that, he owned a Phoenix 5 for more than 2 years. The 6th model will be compared with the 5th. 1. Convenience has not changed 6k as well as 5k comfortable watch. Only here is the standard strap that comes with the watch in the kit is hard and slips when you put it on. 2. The screen resolution has become larger (for 6 it is 260x260). Due to this, the picture is a little clearer. The diagonal of the screen is 0.1 more. But the weight did not change at the same time, but became even less. 6ka is not a heavy watch. They don't look bulky on the wrist. When running, they are not felt on the hand. 3. Protection from the impact of a third-party environment is excellent. Water, rain, snow, mud and other bad weather)) do not cause inconvenience from the word "absolutely". With the exception of the very remaining "BUT" (for more details, see the shortcomings). 4. Sleeping in hours does not cause inconvenience. You just need to get used to it. 5. The charge is also in order. Enough for about 12-15 days with an average intensity of use for training. Most of the course is eaten by GPS and a heart rate monitoring sensor. 6. Good communication with the phone. Glitches during the use of 6ki were not noticed. There were problems during the first connection / transition from 5k to 6k. But a couple of reboots of the phone and following the instructions fixed everything. Notifications come almost immediately. Vibro, on sensations, became better. 6. I still consider the push-button implementation, and not the touch screen, to be a plus. The buttons are really more convenient than all these swipes, pokes, and so on… You turn on exactly what you need and when you need it, even though your hands might get dirty or wet. There are no false positives. 7. ates arrive and this is undoubtedly a plus))) 8. Functionality, 6s and 5s are on top. Many new workouts have been added. With the latest ate (192022 received in October 2022), new parameters appeared: the quality of sleep, after a run, you can independently assess your load and condition. According to subjective feelings, the ate fixed the search and connection to GPS. It got faster. Before that, there was sadness.
Cons
  • Still expensive. Especially at the start of sales. When you first started using it, there were problems with the connection. 6ka did not want to pick up the phone, well, in no way. It took about 30 minutes to constantly repeat the same recommendations. A new GPS chip from SONY was installed in 6ku. He is not happy at all. In 5k it was better both with the time of searching for satellites and with positioning accuracy. In the latest ate (192022), the search and connection times have been fixed. But with positioning and route tracking . I will explain: I often go jogging at the school stadium. It is small 250-270 meters circle. On this lap, the watch counts both the distance and the average pace that they show in real life by 30 seconds more than it actually is. On more or less straight long sections - all the rules. The pace is true. On a circle of 250-270 meters they lie mercilessly. At first they lied for 30-40 seconds. Now about 20. Perhaps in the next. The ate will fix this. 5ki never had such problems. Everything is always clear. Very very very weak bezel…. Scratches only appear along the way. You don't know where from. It feels like the watch can be scratched on the fabric. It’s not good, especially for multisport watches, in which you can go rafting, both in the mountains and off-road. They immediately lose their attraction. Especially if it's a big scratch.

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Average quality, not an outstanding product.

Screen shot from the official website attached Its pros: The watch is similar to the original, I will try it in operation, I will check all the functions. Cons: Watches imported from the USA or Canada do not have an official warranty in 2022
