It's cheap and doesn't work. I don't know why I didn't trust everyone else. LOL

It looks exactly like the remote control that came with the TV and was eaten by my friend's dog. But this one doesn't work. Not power, not channel, not volume, nothing.

Pros
  • The remote is programmed and works right after you put the batteries in. If it doesn't work directly, perform a reset: remove the batteries from the remote control. Press each button on the remote control when the batteries are low. Press each key at least once. Put the batteries back in and test the remote again to see if it can now control the TV. Sometimes the TV is the problem. Simply unplug your TV and press and hold the power button for 15 seconds. Then reconnect your TV.

Cheap remote that doesn't work.

I guess you get what you pay for. But that's not it. Thing is, this works with my Proscan TV (works as advertised for most models). I assumed from the description that once I put the batteries in the remote control it would work. NOT CORRECT! I did everything that needed to be done, turned off the tv, removed the batteries and pressed all the buttons to get my remote control to work with my tv. It still does not work! I'll send it back as soon as possible.
