Smartwool 250 Merino Cuffed Beanie Review

Grrr. I've had about six of these hats. Let's start with the fact that I did not receive the old model with the logo on the cuff, although it is black in the picture. Obviously there have been changes. the material feels thinner, the length is shorter (like I have to tug to get it over my ears) and it just doesn't look as good with the logo higher up and the multicolored band on the cuff. Nothing bothers me more than optical distortions. It's time to try other brands.

I was looking for a hat for my son but couldn't find one big enough (hat size 7 1/4 inches). I love Smartwool socks and when I saw this I was hooked. I knew if it was smartwool it would be good quality and warm but would it be big enough? Do not worry! She is gorgeous! Large, lightweight, but will keep you warm in the harsh midwest winter. He likes it! I buy extra ones to have on hand for the rest of the family.

The color ordered said Military Olive Heather, the packaging says the same, but the color of the product in the Revain store shows a more brown hat, the color is more Charcoal , not the brown color shown, not very happy, can send back.

Without a doubt the best hat I've ever worn. Bought three in the last few years because I lost them snowboarding or something. It keeps you warm and breathes well even when it gets wet. It's never been too cold for him, but here it's -12.
