Made in USA or Imported. Smartwool's lightest weight Merino jersey fabric uses a nylon core to increase durability while still keeping 100% Merino wool next to skin. Offset shoulder and side seams designed to increase comfort and minimize chafing while wearing a backpack. Side seams wrap to front for body-enhancing fit, Slim fit, UPF 20+. Flatlock seam construction designed to minimize chafing, Black Marble Wash, Light Woodsmoke and Indigo Blue colorways feature plant-based dye technique. Knit in Vietnam and China: 87% Merino Wool, 13% Nylon. Exclusive of Decoration.

Perfect Base Layer for Outdoor Adventures

As a result of my tests this layer exceeded my expectations .The merino wool fabric kept me warm and dry during hikes and skiing trips. Its lightweight and breathable design made it the perfect base layer, while the indigo color added a stylish touch. The only downside is the price, but the quality justifies the cost. Overall, a great addition to any men's activewear collection..

Cons
  • Darker colors like the indigo may show wear and tear more readily than lighter colors, making it harder to maintain a clean appearance over time.

The perfect wool blend shirt.

Cheaper than REI offers, serves its purpose. Not as soft and luxurious as the Smartwool, but frankly insignificant and comfortable enough to wear as a base.
