As a result of my tests, I determined that these gloves lack durability and warmth. Despite being made from merino wool, they fell apart easily and did little to protect my hands against the cold. The only positive aspect was the design, but that is not enough to justify the high price. Save your money and invest in a better quality pair of gloves.

I agree with the reviewers who say the toes are a little pliable, but I found it a more than welcome compromise in favor of warmth and softness and comfort these lightweight wool gloves that can be worn alone or with other layers. I bought these gloves on December 28, 2019 with a Christmas bonus. I really liked the look, they were very comfortable and seemed to accomplish what I wanted (lining under a thicker/heavier leather mitten while I was biking and running errands. These gloves had holes on the thumb, index and middle finger since. Given For the premium price of these I expected them to last longer I don't think I would buy them again.
