Doesn't work as expected. It doesn't straighten the hair and actually makes my hair and my daughter's hair harder to comb as it seems to knot more if you just brush it. We've used a plastic comb before and got rid of those tangle issues. Back to plastic!

Excellent combs. They seem less prone to snagging and tangling on my curly hair. They are of good weight, hardly break and have a nice metallic color. Now they are my favourites.

Take what the seller says about these combs for granted, these combs are so great to use! They feel good on the scalp when combed and are naturally ribbed. Love them! I'm a licensed hairstylist and I absolutely love her! I get so many compliments on her all the time! Don't soak them in barbicide! This will break the combs. Spray with barbicide, rinse with water, dry on a towel.

There is a lot of "flash" in the manufacturing process - metal that should come off in the mold but will stick to the finished product. Also, the metal feels rough, like it's a cheap alloy.

Pleasantly surprised to see that the aluminum comb was longer than I expected. It has a very industrial look that I really like. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was that the fine tooth section of the comb's teeth are further apart than combs I've had in the past. I also really like the durability of the product.
