While they work for the purposes listed, I planned to repurpose them by modifying them to serve as gift card holders. They're not strong enough for that. 2 of my set arrived scratched. There is a protective film, but the scratches went through the film.

The plastic is thin and the stand is ONLY suitable for portraits. It cannot be rotated to accommodate a landscape style painting because the stand is not rectangular. These acrylic coasters are so thin they won't stand up. If you work really hard and don't bang the table, you can get her to stand up in portrait mode. However, if you hit the table, they just fall off. You can totally forget about letting them do anything in landscape mode. The base is just too small to provide enough support in all directions. Skip this product. The design is imperfect.

Unstable when used horizontally. One of the 12 was defective - a scratch/fault on the plastic surface. They're made of very thin plastic, but they're good enough - except the scale base is too short and when trying to use them horizontally (on a smooth, flat table) they're unstable and difficult or impossible to lower without falling off.
