These boots run true to size. My 3 year old wears a 9, I ordered a 9.5 for thicker socks. We spent 8 hours in wet and windy 35-40 degree weather. His feet never got cold or hurt like they do in normal winter boots. The ground was damp from several days of rain, but no puddles or snow. They have excellent grip and ankle support.
