Ideal for use with blinds

Used to install blinds in desert hunting areas for many years. I can leave them outside for weeks and never have to worry about the wind blowing the blinds. Excellent goods!

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • So far so good

NEARLY indestructible

When you need to penetrate rocky ground, this is the best you can do. They are not indestructible and can bend, but will far outlive most others. They're heavy, but I think they're worth carrying for camping.

Pros
  • Top marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Almost never

Excellent goods! - Camping & Hiking

Great tent/canopy pole set. I use them to secure the canopy while surfing from my truck. No issues with holding power, they are strong and the right length (you can choose whichever length suits you), the grommets and hook help to hold your stretch marks and also help with removal.

Pros
  • Sturdy design
Cons
  • Poorly thought out

They work, are expensive but I think they're worth it

Very strong, stays in the ground. You might want to buy a stake hammer to pull it out using the "latch" on the stake. I would also recommend getting a longer stand if you have a big canopy as the wind can pull shorter stacks, I went for a medium size. You can also paint the ends orange so they don't get lost in the grass or mud.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Reliability

Very solid post!: tent posts

We recently went hiking in an area with large rocks in the ground. It was difficult to set up a camp, but it was possible. I carry two different brands of tent steaks in my bag: Snow Peak and a cheaper brand with a similar design but made of stainless steel. When we took the city from our camp a few days later, two stainless steel poles were found to have snapped in half, but the only damage the Snowpeak poles sustained was a blunting of the tip, and they're still standing useful.

Pros
  • practical item
Cons
  • zero

I'm sick of those crappy Chinese bets that were just a big nail in the pie.

Made in Japan. These are high quality tent pegs. I was sick of those crappy Chinese pins that were just a big nail with a piece of plastic that kept breaking. These should last forever. Also shop the SWONVI SPARIK ENJOY(TM) Camping Brass Hammer with Copper Head for tent pegs. Perfect for hammering and more importantly getting those stakes out of the ground. I wish there were more things made in Japan. It costs more but exudes quality unlike Chinese stuff.

Pros
  • The best in its niche
Cons
  • will be added later

PERFECTION! - Camping & Hiking

After countless purchases of various tent poles that would never survive being driven into rocky ground, I dug deep into my pockets and paid for these wonders. Too bad I didn't know that from the start. These stakes go into the ground easily and are easy to pull out. No deformation from hammer hits on previously problematic areas, while peg loop bosses and guy wires are held securely with ease. word to the wise. Always invest in good camping gear. That being said, Snowpeak's hard rates are the…

Pros
  • Pretty impressive
Cons
  • boring packaging
