    Beautiful, but small: my rating

    My daughter is 8 and beans. I ordered a size small and they fit her about 6x in the waist. I will be back by ordering Wednesday.

    CHILD SHORTS: my rating

    Very disappointed that these are youth sizes and nowhere stated I should have read the reviews first but as many of them have the same issue they should be advertised differently.

    • I had to get them for my high school support camp and when I put them on they barely stretched but they were really comfortable.

    • Terrible. Didn't fit at all, like kids sizes. doesn't look like a legitimate brand at all...horrible quality.

    A little shorter than I thought

    I bought these for my 9 year old daughter's basketball games but they are too short for her uniform. Otherwise great shorts, she loves to sleep and dance in them.

    I bought a large cardinal color. It arrived this morning and it's not big. This is a big kid, the difference between an ordinary adult is big. Returned immediately.

    Wasn't a cardinal, was maroon.

    It wasn't the bright red color I was expecting, I have a feeling the shorts I received were mislabeled. Instead, I received dark red shorts. I'm disappointed.

    NO ADULT SIZES! to my rating.

    I bought these for my daughters thinking they were adult xs. Boy was I wrong! These are kids sizes, not adults! Luckily I have a 4 year old who can wear them!

    The shorts go well with our dance team. I will definitely buy again. Only for those who need to know. These are the sizes I got: small (6), medium (7/8), large (10/12) and they fit perfectly.

    Do not wash. good for me

    When they arrived I tried them on and they fit. I washed them once and they shrunk so much I couldn't wear them anymore. I've worn soft shorts my whole life and they never shrink.

    Works much less than expected

    Returned immediately. My daughter always wears a small size and based on the measurements given it should be the right size. They were ridiculously small. Do not recommend and do not buy more than usual.

    Great shorts I think

    My granddaughter needed cheerleading shorts and I knew soft shorts are great when my daughter needed them for cheerleading. Excellent quality! The length is perfect, they are not translucent, easy to move in them.

    Size XS - 4/5. I couldn't find the size anywhere when ordering. I just assumed XS is 4/5 and thankfully I was right. The XS fits my 3 year old who is very tall for his age. She usually wears 4/5 shorts so they are true to size. She is about 42 inches tall and about 36 pounds. In the photo, she has them on over leggings.     I was always satisfied with Soffe. Cotton shorts always suit my girls. Some women's items run small, but I haven't had this problem with youth sizes. I wish I had a pair of each color for her.
