Soffe X-Large Long Sleeve Cotton T-Shirt Review

Terrible material, I washed it several times, soaked it in Downey and it stayed like a flimsy burlap. I've worn it and the material is uncomfortable and the band on the inside of my neck was irritating my throat. It's pretty much the same crappy stuff sold online to people looking for a "soft" comfortable shirt. Although the name "MJ Soffe" is old, I think it suggests that he is "soft". NOT >> I'm not even going to give this expensive rag to a thrift store.

I don't know why these 100% cotton t-shirts are so rough, but they feel like 120 grit sandpaper straight out of the bag. I would return them if it weren't for the hassle and price. I bought several packs of Fruit Of The Loom short sleeve tees this summer and they were perfect. I should have taken note and bought their long sleeve version. I've never felt 100% cotton with such a coarse texture, I hope they get better after a few washes or else I'll give them to a shelter. I do not recommend this

Material is listed as 100% cotton, but it's spiky and tough (feels like rayon, not cotton). I bought it according to the measurements given and it runs about 1 size smaller. IF it is actually cotton it will shrink in the wash making it even more useless to me. The sleeves are too long! I have long arms and these sleeves reach down to my outstretched fingertips! This is a very affordable long sleeve t-shirt for less than ten dollars. The size was as expected; however, the black is not pitch black, which was visible even after just one wash in cold water. It's also on the thinner side. Whether you're looking for something to layer with, something to wear to the gym or similar, it's very fit for purpose and at a fair price for that type of use. around the house, sleeping on a cold night, or at the gym.
