Blast from the past - love it!

Some things just work. I bought a retro handset to connect and connect to my cell phone. It's nice to be able to just sling it over your shoulder and not get a kink in the neck. Speakerphones and Bluetooth headsets don't always work well. This combination is a good alternative.

Pros
  • A dream comes true
Cons
  • poorly thought out

Remember my mom had one for her phone.

Remember my mom had one for her phone LOL! This is a great help for me with my very modern phone set up at work. I was spending a ridiculous amount of hours on my phone. While I wish it was actually more than what it actually is, it has greatly reduced my shoulder pain.

Pros
  • Feels good
Cons

I love this thing!

I have one on each of my three phones and I hate using a phone that doesn't have one! Very comfortable and will last for years. The oldest I have is decades old and as comfortable as the newest; I haven't worn one of these yet. I don't know how good the new SoftTalk II is; I have always been so pleased with the original item that I have endeavored to find it.

Pros
  • Beautiful
Cons
  • A few little things

A must have for my office

I bought three of these and am ordering a fourth. I need her at work. I am a secretary and I spend long hours on the phone and need a speakerphone with a keypad. It has kept my neck, shoulders and sciatic nerve from inflammation for many years. It's much easier to hold the phone on your ear and shoulder without pain. They'll last for years, so be careful when you first place them so they end up exactly where you want them.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Anything I can add

I like! in Phone Accessories

Kudos to [.] for the neat packaging, super fast shipping and a great product at a great price! I'm so glad I ordered the black Softalk shoulder pad for my phone and wonder why I've waited so long for this. No more neck pain, the phone slips when I try to make calls and type on my laptop keyboard. It fits perfectly (slightly shorter than my phone), easy to put on (only to do once). right) and it's stuck. In general I give a thumbs up and five stars!

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • Sad hardware

Don't worry - bad design

I have no idea what the person who designed this thing was thinking. It's the right color and the peel and stick works great and it fits the outline of a standard old style phone. My complaint, and it's a big one, is why put a sculpted crest on the back of a part that was supposed to rest on my shoulder? I have no grove there and no one else. The rib pushes the phone away from your ear at an odd angle. I figured the idea would be to hold the phone to your ear with your free hands. Bad design…

Pros
  • is understandable even for the old
Cons
  • Almost everything is there
