Arrived earlier than expected. Exactly what is described. I went to open the lid to see the connection inside and the tab holding it closed broke. Only one did, so it's still around. Haven't used them yet as I need to find a schematic as there wasn't one.

I spent several hours trying to connect an existing cable but the end result was an unusable cable. There could still be a broken wire deep in the cable and since I haven't checked the continuity of each wire I can't say it isn't. When the wire assembly was complete I was unable to reassemble the plastic wrap. I suspect my existing HDMI cable was too fancy.

I was setting up my IT cabinet and accidentally hit my head on the HDMI cable. My apartment is a first, so we had to replace the head or tear down the walls to get the new wire through. The head change worked great. My computer tech spent two hours figuring out how to duplicate the cable that goes to each terminal. This replacement head saved me.

In theory this product should work. However, I have found that each cable is different internally. I tried to fix two wires in the wall and had no luck. First, some threads are smaller than the screws can handle. Second, the copper part on some other strands will break with the slightest movement. I ended up getting solder types, and although it took about four hours to fix one cable, both cables recovered and are now working. YMMV and good luck.
