It turned out that unlike CAT6 cables, not all circuits and connections of HDMI cables are created equal.

I was setting up my IT cabinet and accidentally hit my head on the HDMI cable. My apartment is a first, so we had to replace the head or tear down the walls to get the new wire through. The head change worked great. My computer tech spent two hours figuring out how to duplicate the cable that goes to each terminal. This replacement head saved me.
