I would definitely save this jacket for cold weather but not for playing in the snow or on a rainy day. The jacket holds water and needs time to dry.

I bought a coat for my grandson. The coat is true to size. Good quality coat. I would buy him another coat from this brand next year if it was available in his size.

My biggest concern is cosmetics. The zipper was on the girls side and cheaply made, a bit annoying but my son has trouble with it. The outer layer is brushed cotton and always looks dirty. All in all my son gets warm and he loves it.

Most boys don't have this color so this coat is easy to find and washes well. Fits just below the hips. My grandson loves it and is very comfortable in his heavy tracksuits.
