Initial rating seems to be a solid 5 stars. I love that it's both high and low in the packaging. pure colour. Bright and looks updated in my Tahoe 02. For my application, I needed to connect the wires in the opposite direction from the locking mechanism on the connector. A bit annoying but the cork ties are strong enough that I don't have to worry about them dangling.

Light in the middle. Not super bad, but not good either. Only E. However, it works. So far every time. The fit was definitely a bit off. Cannot center the low beam on the passenger side. If you only go outside for a long time at night from time to time, this light is for you. You should invest in top quality flashlights like Hikari if you mainly drive at night. Believe me. It shouldn't be something you compromise on.

These lamps are great! They are much brighter than traditional incandescent bulbs. They fit my 2002 Silverado with a little tweaking. It was necessary to remove the bracket on the rear of the headlight by loosening 6 screws as shown with a 5.5mm socket on the driver's side just due to wiring orientation and the length of the lamp assembly. It only took a few minutes to install and it was totally worth it! I will buy more for other cars.

I installed these in my 1992 Chevy C 1500 truck they work great very bright I ordered them and got free shipping they should arrive Friday but receive them early Tuesday. I connected them to the harness locking clips to secure them to the bulb but that didn't work but I just flipped them over and they only work by not locking the bulb harness but still being snug so this should make a difference to the outer clamp type. The 9006 is more customizable than the 9005 so they aren't interchangeable like some brands. My '98 Chevy k1500 had old headlights and you couldn't see 8 feet ahead. Bought and fitted assuming I had to turn all the bulbs back to front. Remove the ring from the old 9005 bulbs and put on the new 9005 bulbs to ensure a tight fit but other than that they all work and are very bright. Just a suggestion if like me you need to turn them back snap them by wrapping tape around all my connectors to make sure they stay in place. I wish I had used them from the start! Bought to replace aftermarket HIDs and ballasts on my '09 Mitsubishi Lancer that kept blowing up. The high beam fits with no problems, the low beam required some modifications to the headlight housing dust cover to squeeze the bulb into a tight space, simply used a dremel to sand the housing a bit as needed. It's not that bad. I've installed them in my BMW low beam projector housings and regular high beam reflector housings. The light output of the low beam is better than that of the old halogen bulbs (this is an older BMW E30 from 1992. And the high beam is at least 4 times brighter. The light output of the high beam is incredible. Installed in a 2002 Corolla. The lamps looked great out of the box. 9005 entered without problems. 9006 are not screwed into the case. I pulled out my calipers and took measurements, comparing them to the light bulbs I'd just removed. The diameter of the black o-rings was at least three times larger than the yellow o-rings on the old lamps. I replaced the o-rings with the old ones and they screwed in with no problem.
