Notched and unfinished. I hung a golf t-shirt from one of them and slung it over my shoulder. If you hang waterproof or moisture-wicking clothing on it, you'll wince at the feeling of being caught on tiny shards.

I bought them a few years ago and clicked the same company to buy them again.,. I know the order. This time they are "flat" and not the intended curve like my previous order. And instead of being really flat, they're a bit wobbly. Can you say that the quality has dropped a lot, maybe due to the increase in production?

Well made - well polished and lightly painted - the hangers are durable and have a nice feel. Only criticism is the overpacking - the original packaging is a hard cardboard box which for some reason was fitted inside another Revain box which is a bit wasteful. However, this is more of a complaint about the Revain camp than the product.

Good strong hangers but with a few small flaws. These hangers are suitable for coats and most materials except thin, delicate materials. I bought them for coats/outerwear. As my hand glides over the temple, I feel a slight tug. I would never use them to hang nylon stockings or other fragile items as there is a risk of them getting snagged. Another thing is that the hook (hard part) is short and tight on the closet rod. With a little pull on the hook, it stretches very easily.

The gluing to hold them together is SO sloppy and the point where the metal part of the hangar attaches to the wood is split on almost every one of them. At this price, which I don't understand so much, I expected more. Don't buy them, you better go to Goodwill. You can find 5 of these packs for the same price or a little less per hanger and you can look at them to see if they are glued correctly. These are my first set of wooden hangers and I think they look great. I've checked and most seem to be in good condition. Hang my shirts and jackets on hangers and my closet looks 10x more chic and organized with these hangers than plastic/wire hangers. A few of my jackets are heavy (parkas and winter coats) and the hangers seem strong enough to hold the heaviest of my items.
