If I knew how comfortably life would change from the transition from Alice to Sonos systems, I would have done it a long time ago. Its pros: - Very surround sound, not comparable with speakers in the segment of 10-20 thousand. - Awesome Sonos app, support for all streaming services, even . Music. - The ability to connect quite simply external wireless remote controls and control music even while washing in the shower. (applies to all Sonos speakers) - It is convenient that you can put the…

The quality is at the level, I am satisfied with everything.

There is a need to refine the Sonos native app, in terms of being displayed as a widget on the iPhone's lock screen, like when playing music directly through Spotify or through another application.

Pros
  • Sound quality. Now, after it, listening to music in the car has become torture, you have to change the acoustics to B & O
Cons
  • Did not reveal

I was surprised by the quality for this price.

It is worth taking with caution if you listen ONLY to "heavy" genres of music. The rest of the audio system is quite omnivorous.

Pros
  • Design, cool application, works both with Tidal and Deezer HIFI, as well as with popular music in our area. Sufficiently fat sound, a large margin of volume.
Cons
  • Metal, hard rock is not quite suitable for this audio system. Sounds good, but for the money it's not good enough. However, this applies only to the above genres.

Product is unreliable, just don't buy it.

I took Sonos Five White. I didn’t even have time to spend a day with this column. But during the time that she played, I was extremely pleased with the quality of the sound. She is gorgeous. Unfortunately, it has a huge number of shortcomings due to which its use turns into torment. Therefore, I changed it to Denon Home 350, the store changed it without any questions. The column is ideal only for listening to music as a standalone device, turn it on and forget it.

Pros
  • – Gorgeous appearance – There are many speaker settings in the app. The app itself is bug free. You can set alarms and auto-off - A lot of external services from where you can listen to music - Very pleasant sound
Cons
  • – Delays. Delays are everywhere! Even over the wire, Carl! I didn’t quite understand what kind of super-duper fast processor they stuck there. Pure marketing nonsense. Yes, you can lower it to 75ms, but I still notice this out of sync! – Does not automatically switch from AirPlay to AUX. To do this, you need to go into the application and switch. There are no physical buttons on the column for this. Facepalm. – Saves network settings for a very long time. On the other hand, this is done once. – No Bluetooth. Here your friends go through the forest, especially those who have an android phone. - The speaker is tied to WiFi / Ethernet and you can't do anything about it, you won't even switch the source to AUX. See above. Further, most likely the features of my copy. – Always emits a static hiss under any scenario. It's wildly annoying when you sit in silence and try to work. When an AUX source is selected, the hiss is endless, the speaker does not turn itself off in this mode. You have to poke sources back and forth. It's wildly inconvenient! - On a Mac, when connected via AirPlay at the system level, the sound constantly stutters about once a minute. On the Denon Home 350, the same thing, but a little less often. If you play music through Apple Music and select a column there, then there are no stutters. It also works fine from the phone. - For some unknown reason, when connected via AUX, there is no sound from some applications, especially from games. At least not immediately, you have to switch several times between AirPlay and AUX. The authors of AirPlay are waiting for a separate boiler in hell . Proprietary technology that will always give a delay of 2 seconds. This means that any sound that should be played right this millisecond, but will be played with a delay of 2 seconds. AirPlay is streaming audio/video. It's streaming. This also means that the games are forested, you first shoot and only after 2 seconds does the sound of a shot occur.

No minuses as such, comfortable to use.

I read reviews about the sound delay through the cable and when trying to watch the video. On Amazon, people also complain about this, apparently a design feature. Didn't encounter it myself. My use case is music through I. Music, music through AirPlay 2. I added it to the application, chose the stream I was interested in and enjoy life. If you plan to listen on the column and watch the video - most likely it will not work for you.

Pros
  • from May 2022. Removed support for Music. It has become much less convenient. minus a star. It's amazing how well he plays. Although the column one scene is quite different. Both high and low with the middle are well worked out. Packaging is a piece of engineering art. I have never seen such cool packaged goods. Apple smokes aside) The application is convenient: I chose the service of interest (including Music!), I chose the stream that I like. Further buttons on the column itself (volume, play / pause, rewind). Mega convenient. AirPlay 2 is also a fire thing if you have an iPhone. It is convenient that the music is not interrupted during a call. Looks pretty good.
Cons
  • Removed support for Music. Much less convenient. It's hard to force yourself to come off the speaker and listening to music;) So I think if you take the second one and connect it to a stereo pair, how will it play then? Began to dorovarivatsya with a toad. And this is after three days of use.
