Nice VHS cassette for camera and photo

The cassette itself was fine. However, due to the inferior packaging, four cartridges have cracked. Three of them were quickly repaired, the fourth required considerable effort. They were all fixed with super glue. If the packaging had been done properly and arrived undamaged it would have been five stars.

Pros
  • VHS

3 ribbons are damaged so far

1 ribbon had a detached plastic window which I disassembled and repaired. The second tape looked like it had been stepped on or crushed by a car and I tried to fix it with the tape as well. The 3rd cassette has very poor recording quality (snow). I also bought another brand of tapes the same day and had no problems with them.

Pros
  • Electronics
Cons
  • I don't remember

The tapes are fine but the age was evident.

Videocassettes received on time as promised. However, the age of the tapes, even when new, was evident as there was some "noise" that somewhat detracted from the quality of the recording. My guess is that the cassettes' packaging probably sat on the shelf for a while because all the labels were practically unusable - they were so dry they couldn't stick to the cassettes.

Pros
  • Blank video media
Cons
  • Doubtful
