Good but not great. These cassettes come in a strong and very attractive blue cassette sleeve. They give a good sound in the bass, but the high frequencies are too harsh. Slide cases are also a good change. Not in the same class as maxell and tdk. Buy for looks!

Yes I had to buy cassettes, I didn't even know they were still available! But they worked well and almost 10 years later they still have music on them (backup for the cassette player in my car in case the CD player dies - horrible). Next time I will put an MP3 capability in the car.

In the late 1990s I recorded music from the radio onto several Sony CD-IT CDs. At the time I was impressed by how good the recordings sounded - not at all noisy or muffled, very clear. I've kept them in the booklet and recently pulled them out to listen, and the sound quality hasn't deteriorated AT ALL over the decades.
