Came from Hong Kong. The camera displays and menus are all in Chinese, with no language selection. The instructions are also all in Chinese. We could not get any basic information about its use. We left it as we needed it for vacation. It's a shame really because we've never had a problem with Sony products; always happy and satisfied.

Bought a used DSC-HX30V just in case. It lives in my glove box in one case and works well for its intended purpose. When I think of "those amazing" photos, I usually get them from a DSLR with good glass. There's an obvious difference between this and a full-frame DSLR with 2.8f glass, but it does a good job for a point and a shot in the early 2010s. Buyers have no regrets.
