This is a great camera with many features not normally found in compact digital cameras. I like all the settings available. Still learning but so far so good.

I bought this camera for my upcoming trip to Africa. I received it a week before so I could learn how to use it beforehand. Everything went great until the second day of travel. The camera has completely stopped working. It turned on, but the zoom didn't work and there was no image on the LED screen on the back. I even tried a new battery and a camera reset; Nothing. This Sony model has always been one of my favorite cameras. It is easy for anyone to use one of the automatic selections. Captures bright, clear photos and great videos. The menu system is intuitive. It has a Sony G lens which is a great lens. Focuses quickly, reloads something quickly so you can get that next shot (if you're using a Class 10 SDHC card).
