Fantastic camera

I bought this camera in 2008 to take with me on vacation. It takes me forever to decide which electronics to buy because I'm very picky. This camera meets all my expectations and more. I wasn't looking for a professional camera on the market. I wanted a good or better camera to capture travel, sporting events and everyday life. This camera can do it all. Sony DCR-HC62 ideal for recording with Toshiba Combo DVD Recorder

Discounted for quality Received in perfect condition as described by seller. I connected this used (as new) DCR-HC62 Handycam to my Toshiba DVD/VHS combo recorder and started burning my old miniDV cassettes (called DVC, which stands for Digital Video Cassette) to DVD. After racking my brains about which camera to buy, I took a chance and bought this one. I bought a Sony mini DVD camcorder and returned it after realizing the results were pretty poor. I didn't want to spend money to go to HD and people told me that mini DV is the best picture quality you can get if you don't go to HD. Again, I'm generally happy with the purchase.
