The right product for me, there were no problems.

4k shoots with a crop, but this is expected, itā€™s not possible to process video in 43mp, but itā€™s still a shame. For the most part, the R line is for photos, although in terms of 4k quality and trailer video, it is not inferior to the a6500 The photos really turn out to be very high-quality, detailed, but you canā€™t jump above 3000 ISO anymore - it makes noise. With its pros. Everything is like professional models. FF + 43mp do their job. In the kit they give 2 batteries and external chargingā€¦

The quality is at the highest level, be sure to try it.

To begin with, this is my first camera in 15 years. The headache when choosing was wild, but the task became easier, since I chose a camera only from the Sony park. I never understood people who say, first take a simpler camera, and then take a normal one. Hello, why say this? Well, I'll continue. The menu in the cell turned out to be very understandable, it has hardly changed in 15 years. The ending of this verbiage will be like this. This is a camera of 2022, but at the end of 2022, it isā€¦

Pros
  • Excellent dynamic range Excellent photography in the dark Amazing viewfinder Incredible picture quality
Cons
  • Thin belt, slow tooth.

My impression of the purchase is good, buy it.

I bought the camera as a replacement for 5d mk2 due to its more compact size, modern matrix and the ability to shoot video. (The way the old kenons make videos categorically did not suit me - aliasing and low DD) I tested the camera on a two-week mountain hike in Altai. Sony a7R2 is light and compact, you can carry it in a case around your neck all day long and the camera is always at hand. But! For a long autonomous trip, you need to take a power-bank with you, and in general, the gain inā€¦

Pros
  • Resolution, sharpness, sensitivity and dynamic range of the matrix. Colors do not degrade with iso. I consider the value of 4000 iso to be working. Shadows in RAW are drawn really well. without strong noise and banding as in 5d mark2. High quality video recording. Many video recording modes (resolution, profiles). Wireless functions (transferring previews to a smartphone via wi-fi). Charging from micro-USB
Cons
  • Don't like the screen! Very low resolution, a Chinese smartphone for 8000 has a much better screen. I don't like the viewfinder. I still can't get used to the optical one. Incredible gluttony - with the camera turned on, about a percentage per minute! Autofocus is very dull when focusing at close range, as if there is not enough range. But you switch to manual mode and there is still a decent margin. (Described problem with FE 28 f2.0) With a full-length portrait, face recognition does not work and there is no automatic focus on the face.

I didnĀ³'t expect the quality to be this good.

I am an experienced canonist, I shoot at 5dm3 and 5dm2 both video and photo. I love and respect Canon, it is the market leader, but I donā€™t like sensors with weak DD, few megapixels, and in general itā€™s disgusting to shoot on a mirror with manual lenses. For a long time I looked closely at Sony's BZK (Sony has no alternative - I don't shoot for crops). Previous models did not suit me for a number of reasons. This model has everything: sensitivity, 43mp, gorgeous colors, gorgeous EVI, andā€¦

Pros
  • - the best 35mm sensor on the market - sensitivity (it's amazing) - no anti-moire filter on the sensor, which means razor sharpness - colors are natural and pleasant - 43 megapixels - the best EVI on the market - swivel display - dimensions - the weight - accurate AF - Shutter vibration reduced compared to previous models - quiet mode - Eye AF (works great, no more defective portraits) - Multi-zone AF (399 focal points and 25 contrast focus points) - AF does not need to be adjusted, unlike DSLRs due to a different technology - working with manual lenses is more convenient and pleasant than on DSLRs (zooming directly in the EVI, focus peaking) - EVI (you see exactly what you get in the viewfinder, unlike a pentaprism) - magnesium alloy body - metal mount (unlike its predecessors) - 5-axis stabilization in the carcass - stabilization in the carcass works even with ancient glasses like Helios: just indicate the focal point in the menu and that's it - excellent native optics, primarily primes (Zeiss Batis; Zeiss 55mm 1.8; Zeiss 35 1.4; Sony Macro 90mm 2.8) - short working distance - through adapters you can hook everything that is not available on the mirror: Leica, M39, Canon FD, Canon FL, Canon R and others glasses (you can also safely install Canon EF-S), not to mention modern Canon and Nikon glasses - autofocus in video! (full automatic with native glasses, by half-pressing with canon ones through Metabons IV) - the ability to get AF with Canon L-lenses through Metabones IV - video quality (better than 5dm3, Canon Cinema, Sony FS 100, FS 700) - writes 4K video directly to SD card (unlike a7s) - in Super35 mode, video without pixel-binning, cinematic quality without any discounts (Canons have a rest) - WiFi (Jpeg directly to an iPhone without a computer) - customizable custom buttons - Comes with two batteries and a charger
Cons
  • - AF is slower than 5dm3, you can forget about shooting sports - battery (total 320 frames in RAW) - only SD (I love CF and trust SD less) - sharp and uncomfortable rubber pad on the viewfinder (compared to 5dm3) - general ergonomics is much inferior to 5dm3, precisely because the camera is small - the grip is worse than 5dm3, since the little finger falls through and the load passes to the other three fingers - Sony's ARW ravines have a built-in jpeg to view only 1616 x 1080, which is inconvenient when previewing on a computer with viewer programs like Faststone, you cannot quickly assess the quality of a photo during preview - the camera thinks for a long time after shooting, you canā€™t immediately see the captured frame on 5dm3, there is a delay (I think the reason is 43mp and SD) - a smaller fleet of native optics in general (in comparison with the market leader Canon) - Sony FE zooms are dark (f / 4), Canon accustomed to f / 2.8 L-cams - a shameful strap in the kit (much worse than the native Canon one, for example), I bought a narrow Japanese ProTAMA leather strap - it looks great.

The quality is top notch, be sure to try it.

I have been using Sony mirrorless cameras for a long time. There is no need to enumerate the advantages of this line. I consider this camera to be the top one at the moment in terms of price / quality ratio. The BSI sensor works wonders. ISO-3200/6400, when properly shot in RAW with subsequent development, does not leave noise or traces, while maintaining image detail. Incredible ISO invariance. Just forget the ISO button! 42MP looks like a shot from a medium format camera. Colors, clarityā€¦

Pros
  • BSI sensor. Sensor! Once again the sensor! Picture. Colors. 5 axis stabilizer. Ergonomics of Sony (in the viewfinder: digital zoom, zebra, focus peaking, histogram, etc.). Price reduction due to the release of a new flagship.
Cons
  • The battery is actively eating, which already comes with 2pcs. Only one memory card slot. The standard belt is narrow and uncomfortable, you need to take it from ordinary DSLRs. The size of the uncompressed RAW is 100MB, but we havenā€™t learned how to reap normally without loss. When shooting in RAW, it noticeably slows down, although this does not interfere with the shooting process, it mainly affects viewing photos.

Not a bad product, but I expected a little more.

The camera would be absolutely fine if not for the ergonomics. It has an amazing picture (if you do not take into account the colors, which we still kill during processing), but the focusing speed, the delay when turning on, the quality of the viewfinder is, for me, a real reason to abandon it in favor of some Z7 or another multi-megapixel monster. Perhaps the flaws were corrected in R3, but the second version was very disappointing even with such excellent and fast glasses as 55 1.8 / 24-104 /

Pros
  • Very high image detail Image as a whole
Cons
  • Ergonomics Skinton Colors shutter sound Lack of focus point selection joystick

I definitely recommend buying, I didn't notice any disadvantages.

If you don't need the high speed photography, touch screen, other electronic features added in later and more expensive models, but want a high image quality, high resolution FF unit, then this is by far the only option for the price today. Despite the release date - autumn 2022, the camera and sensor are still relevant and contain all the necessary innovations - a highly sensitive backlight sensor of 42 megapixels and in-camera image stabilization. However, to fully reveal its potential, itā€¦

Pros
  • At the moment (winter 2022-summer 2022), this is the most affordable camera to enter the "major league of photographic equipment" - the studio segment of photographic equipment with high resolution and very high image quality. For your money, you can get a device comparable in many image parameters with models in the 200 thousand+ segment and above. Also a plus - shooting 4K30p video, working from an external USB source Good, fast and accurate work with Canon lenses (I work through Sigma MC-11 and through some Chinese adapter for 2 thousand) - quickly catches focus on Canon 24-70 2.8 and 70-200 f4, at the far end only sometimes stupid.
Cons
  • Compared to DSLRs, it still turns on more slowly, and the battery capacity is smaller. Autofocus in video mode does not work very well, perhaps only with native lenses such as Sony 28-70 or Sony G 24-105, and even then not very well. Rumbles and sometimes pulsates. Even in a6500 it is implemented better. Let's face it, Canon's 2022 Dual Pixel is still far from the convenience and speed.

Best camera I have ever owned

I have made the decision to switch from shooting with a Nikon D810 to a Sony platform and I am very glad I did. While the controls may not be as intuitive as my Nikon D810 and this camera definitely won't work as an emergency weapon, the image quality is so perfect and amazing it's forgivable. Here are the pros and cons I see. about owning a Sony A7rII: Pros: Amazing picture quality - the best I've seen - and I've worked side-by-side with the D850 a lot. A wonderful camera: a review by an amateur photographer.

Let me start by saying that I was concerned that the high price of this camera might not be justified by the performance and value. I started shooting with a Nikon APS-C a little over a year ago and was happy, but was keen to switch to a full frame camera. I considered staying with Nikon, but there were so many people raving about this particular camera that I decided to give it a try. After using this camera for a few months I can say that I have no regrets. The Sony A7RII is a wonderful kitā€¦

Great powerhouse

This camera is very comfortable to walk around but not as discreet as my RX1R II. The body is solid if a bit small and I find my pinky dangling in the air , so I use it to support my lower body. My middle and ring fingers hold the small front handle (which is handy), and my index finger is between the shutter button and the shutter speed dial (more on that below). There's a small ledge on the back that sits my thumb comfortably and provides quick access to the bezel dial. The RX1R II has aā€¦
