I definitely recommend buying, I didn't notice any disadvantages.

However, to fully reveal its potential, it requires a good expensive lens. A plus will also be a small weight and dimensions compared to analogues (Nikon D850 for example)

Pros

At the moment (winter 2022-summer 2022), this is the most affordable camera to enter the "major league of photographic equipment" - the studio segment of photographic equipment with high resolution and very high image quality. For your money, you can get a device comparable in many image parameters with models in the 200 thousand+ segment and above. Also a plus - shooting 4K30p video, working from an external USB source Good, fast and accurate work with Canon lenses (I work through Sigma MC-11 and through some Chinese adapter for 2 thousand) - quickly catches focus on Canon 24-70 2.8 and 70-200 f4, at the far end only sometimes stupid.

Cons

Compared to DSLRs, it still turns on more slowly, and the battery capacity is smaller. Autofocus in video mode does not work very well, perhaps only with native lenses such as Sony 28-70 or Sony G 24-105, and even then not very well. Rumbles and sometimes pulsates. Even in a6500 it is implemented better. Let's face it, Canon's 2022 Dual Pixel is still far from the convenience and speed.
