I love the sound but I don't like the new style.

I've been wearing Sony active headphones for about 10 years. I really like the sound quality as I can also hear what is going on around me. It's like it gets stuck in my ears while I'm exercising or doing housework. But I don't like these new ones with a hardened front end. This makes it smaller to accommodate larger ears, causing one of my ears to hurt after a while. Back to the old style!

Not waterproof?!

You sound great right away. After a few weeks, the cheap quality of these headphones showed. The loudspeakers wear off after 2 weeks, you have to turn up the volume higher and higher. After getting sweaty, one of the earbuds stopped working properly, so I always have to take a spare pair of headphones with me when I go jogging outside. .Pros: -Cheap -Love the design -Good sound quality Cons: -Not waterproof -Short lifespan What's the point of wearing sports headphones if you can't sweat in…

Not as "active " as I'd like

I don't know how the customer said their headphones survived the wash and dry, but here's my story: I have these headphones used a few times a week and finally got the chance to run outside and within 10 minutes sweat was seeping into the speaker holes degrading the sound quality on both sides to a point where it was impossible to hear the music . This really frustrated me but I decided to give it another try as this often happens with "active" headphones and I went for a jog the other day the…

A good choice for those who hate headphones while exercising

Great design - comfortable for long wear, decent sound and they just don't fall out. Headphone design that can be worn comfortably for hours. They don't get stuck in the ear canal and don't hang in the inner ear. They are NOT noise canceling and that's a feature - you can still hear a little of what's going on around you. They are ideal for outdoor sports like running. The sound quality is good, but not outstanding. The low level is just about sufficient. Since they let some ambient noise…

I've had an incarnation of these headphones for almost ten years. I usually lose them or destroy them before they stop working (my dog chewed through the wires and I used them once as a makeshift leash for a stray dog to give you an idea of how I destroy them). I think I've had my first pair for over two years and eventually they stopped sounding great, but that's a really good lifespan for cheap sports headphones. I keep coming back to them because they have great sound and are very secure in…
