Great design - comfortable for long wear, decent sound and they just don't fall out. Headphone design that can be worn comfortably for hours. They don't get stuck in the ear canal and don't hang in the inner ear. They are NOT noise canceling and that's a feature - you can still hear a little of what's going on around you. They are ideal for outdoor sports like running. The sound quality is good, but not outstanding. The low level is just about sufficient. Since they let some ambient noise through, the peak volume doesn't seem all that high. By the way, why this design is not so popular remains a mystery. Sony used to make a simpler version, which they inexplicably discontinued about a decade ago, and Phillips has a similar design that's also hard to find now.
