Simple, well built and cheap.

Worked great as a second spare wheel on my trailer. The screw on the hardware was not used due to interference. Welded on the side only. The drop loop is a nice feature for getting the tire out of the way.

Pros
  • Permanent test results
Cons
  • I will add later

Looks best in outdoor accessories

Freshly installed yesterday, looks solid enough for a tire rack. As soon as I have the spare tire I will mount it and take it for a test drive. Easy installation, reasonable price and fast delivery. Will update the review after some use in the future.

Pros
  • Boosts confidence
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Strong and light - external accessory

We used this on a dual rim and it worked great. We had to flip it for the screws to work so it sticks out a bit, but not even as much as a bike rack. Seems very sturdy and we've been on some terrible roads.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Quick start guide

Inexpensive and durable

I didn't use it as a spare tire on a trailer. I bought it because it was cheap and I installed it on my 2008 Subaru WRX car. My station wagon now looks like a mini SUV. I had to adjust it a bit to match Subaru's bolt pattern.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Hard to say

Easy to install: External accessory

It was exactly what they advertised. As a woman, I installed it myself. A lot of time has passed. Put it on my RV bumper 'cause they had it under their tongue. Just a bad place to go to. I think it's worth the money.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • No performance

. Underside of my 5th wheel which is a stupid spot for a spare tire

I bought this to replace the spare tire carrier on the underside of my 5th wheel which is a stupid spot for a spare tire. Installation instructions were not required. Very easy to install. 2 U-bolts, 4 nuts and lock washers and 2 nuts and bolts for the spare wheel. Very easy. Installation took almost 5 minutes. Works like a champ. Great replacement chassis.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Appearance

Happy with how much it cost

I think about what I paid and for the price it's a good thing. I wouldn't call it "structural steel" so even if everything is tightened properly the tire will have decent mobility, but for something in this price range that fits perfectly and quickly on my RV's 4" square rear bumper is screwed on, I am very happy. My camper uses 225/75-15 tires so it might be a bit more durable with a smaller wheel/tire. I don't feel like it could fall, just would prefer something stiffer.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • A little torn

Great replacement case!

I recently bought this for my 24ft trailer to fit a 4" rear bumper. The mount I received didn't come with instructions on how to install it. However, I was able to figure out how bottles and nuts go together. I would recommend that they put some sort of guide or simple booklet in the box on where the parts go as some people might get confused. Installation was easy and quick. I was impressed by how durable and reliable the straps are. My spare tire is a 10-ply 225/75 R15 tire that fits…

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Fits
