Worth the money

I bought these 6 years ago and after regular use they still work. They are well made and durable. This is an old model but with really good sound quality. They are way better than the Skullcandy and Cowins which are sold for a similar price. Overall it's good value for money if you want to stay on a budget.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Old model

Uncomfortable and with a very short cord

I don't like the way they sit on the ear. I thought they were over the ear but instead they will crush your ear from above. And the cable is no longer than 5 feet. It's probably okay if you're watching a movie, but don't try playing keyboards or guitar. I also don't like how flexible each ear is relative to the other. Just not a fan.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Sad packaging

I love these. I use them every day (literally) and it's been over a year. they are my children The sound quality is the best. It also has a beautiful design. I don't like the Sony brand next to it, so it's really perfect. The red and black also looks amazing with the design. Some of my friends that I've tried it on have been amazed at how good it is. Unfortunately, I use them so often that there are scratches on the right side, but I'm even willing to buy a second pair.

I don't know what Simon Cowell has to do with it but I still like them

I finally spent a little more on a pair of headphones and it was worth the extra cost. They are more comfortable to the touch, soft and will not hurt the ears with long-term use. I think I'm more sensitive to that than other people, so it was amazing. The sound is much better and while they don't say so, they block outside noise. I used to have noise canceling headphones and the ones I had didn't change a thing, so that was a pleasant surprise. If you can still use I-jack headphones with your…

Beats "Beat " in all aspects.

We bought the MDRX05/BR as a present for my nephew last week. I was able to use it for several hours and was amazed by the quality, the design and above all the sound quality. . The bass is astronomical! I have no idea how they can produce such bass from such a small speaker. Mid and high frequencies are EXCELLENT! I hated seeing her go. However, if I order headphones, it will be these Sony. They are just as good if not better than the more expensive kits I've listened to. You will not be…

Pros
  • Always liked
Cons
  • Hard to say

First, the sound of music can vary greatly from device to device. These headphones are particularly squishy and warmer for those who love bass. In fact, these speakers remind me of my Polk PSW10 subwoofer before I set it up. Unfortunately, without the ability to tune these headphones, the bass can be very overwhelming and ruin the quality. The highs are okay, but the lows drown out the mids and you lose the vocals. I suppose if you crank the volume up a lot it's not a problem, but if you're…
