Instead, you should buy NFTs.

This is impossible to setup and run, and not worth googling and searching GitHub just to get your ubikey working. Money is better spent on NFTs.

Perfect for Linux authentication

I would recommend this to anyone looking to use it for authentication. I have an NFC implant that I use daily to unlock my Linux workstation. It took a bit of research, but I finally found a Python script that can read tag serial numbers.

Pros
  • ISO/IEEE 11073 compliant
Cons
  • Minor issues

Terrible support, worse software

The support docs mention software that is 'included' but absolutely not. The documentation on their website is worse than useless. The SDK does not work properly on Windows 10. There is no help for Linux, although they claim to have example code, this code is nowhere to be found. Get a cheaper reader, I'm sure it will have better support.

Pros
  • Computer accessories and peripherals
Cons
  • Some bugs
