There are plenty of competent options available at various price points; heck, Sony has three 35mm lenses (a 1.4, a 1.8, and a 2.8) on the market. With enough illumination, clarity even at the periphery of an opening. The glow effect (glow around thin lines, writing) can be seen if there is not enough light. It's odd to see chromatic aberration in a $1600 lens, but it's only visible when the lens is wide open and can be fixed in any image editing program. One benefit of this glass is the…

Pros
  • Constructiveness, contrast, color accuracy, and the "Zeiss magic"
Cons
  • Size, color deviation, and mass all affect the retail selling price. However, if you compare the price to that of competing brands' premium glasses, you may find it to be fair.

A really necessary purchase, I'm glad I found this product.

A little over a year ago, I used the A7 to take this picture. Since this is my first set of photographic equipment, I gave a lot of consideration to the camera and lens I purchased, and since I only had a small amount of money to spend, I made the most of my funds by purchasing them on eBay. No time for regrets. You may go on and on, but I think it's time I showed you the outcomes: Not even commonplace light sources like streetlamps, neon signs, club lights, etc. were used in addition to this…

Pros
  • Incredible clarity and focus, with the ability to shoot in low-light settings (nightclubs, etc.) where professional equipment would normally struggle.
Cons
  • I bought it used and saved a ton of money despite the high price.

Normal product, but wanted more for the money.

On the Internet, there are a ton of evaluations and enthusiastic declarations that this glass is fantastic and that nothing could be finer. Everyone talks about extreme sharpness, loudness, etc. The reviews, in my opinion, are either fabricated or reflect people's attempts to deceive themselves. It is unfortunate to pay $130,000–$144,000 and receive a defective lens with an open aperture.

Pros
  • Designed well and made entirely of metal, including the focus ring.
Cons
  • Indistinct at 1.4 to 1.6. I expected to obtain high quality for the money I paid, but sadly I did not. Smears focus at 1.4 on the eyes. I thought that the working aperture values only ranged from 1.8. Additionally, blur was always created with a shutter speed of 1/60 to 1/100 with an open aperture.
