Have used this radio for many years and carefully listen to selected sporting events or local AM sports broadcasts. This little radio is very energy efficient. It runs on a single AAA battery and lasts around 15-20 hours in a good week on a single charge (rechargeable). Overall grade 2+ (3.5)!

I adore listening to NPR on AM and FM while I work and I find this radio to be the only radio that comes close to working for me. Does it work great? No chance. Does it have decent battery life?
