Great projector for home cinema.

I have had this projector since it came out, about 8 years. I'm on the second bulb, preparing for the third. This is a beautiful projector. The picture quality is very, very good, the fan noise is very quiet, especially with the built-in baffle. My couch is right under the projector and you can't hear it working when there's noise in the room, even a quiet conversation, or the air conditioner is on. My only wish is that it could be a bit brighter, but it's bright enough. Even during the day, my

excellent picture

I got this projector as a replacement for the Sony Cineza VPL-10 (I think it was labeled as such) which was an excellent machine for the price but was seriously annoying - a noticeable haze effect on the Pan camera through a uniform field (e.g. the sky) ). Of course, I'm sitting close to the screen, so it probably didn't bother everyone. The picture quality of this projector is amazing. There is no screen door effect even if you sit 6 or 7 feet from the screen. You almost have to put your nose…
