These Sorel shoes are well worth the price for women with foot size 7.5 or smaller. I usually wear shoes 7-7.5 and have a wide foot. I ordered 7 big kids and they have enough room for a thick sock. I could have ordered 6 and put on thin wool socks and it would have been ok. They are warm, the shaft goes over the ankle. The traction strap makes it easy to put on and take off duck shoes. I bought these boots because I need something to wear some of these in but wear to work so I don't have to take other shoes with me.
