These boots are great for cold snowy days in Alaska. My boys were 15 months and 3 years old when we first bored them. Even when it was below zero, they stayed warm and dry. These boots were too small for my son which I found odd as the last pair I bought was a little big. It turned out the sticker on the box said "boots for toddlers." They are all black and said "baby" in the ad. I sent them back and ordered a size larger. The large size fits perfectly. Plus we love these boots and have bought them before! They are easy to put on and take off. My 2 year old can put them on and take them off by himself. I would definitely buy them again.

However compared to another brand I found the rubber soles to be quite bulky and I found it would be more difficult for a 2 year old to walk in the snow. I also found that the boot leg was shorter which I felt had a better chance of coming loose in the snow. They also had a boot strap compared to the other brand's two straps.
