The daughter has outgrown her characteristic Russian pointe shoes. She has a wide foot and we were trying to get new pointe shoes that weren't $145. We tried 3 different sizes from 2 different brands but never found the right pair. These shoes look great, but they just don't fit. t fits exactly.

Lace ballet flats look to the point, very realistic - just like the picture. They are great for photo shoots! However, they are not very comfortable for dancing. Pre-sewn satin ribbons slip off all too often no matter how you tie them. I was advised to go one size larger than usual because of the pads on my toes. However, the larger size was a bit too big for me. Maybe half a size bigger would be a better option.

There is a lot to be said for these shoes - only buy them if you are trained - they are not of very good quality, the box feels like cardboard - they become very soft after hours of dancing, they do not last long at all - they don't mold to your feet and have good structure. I took out the inside of the shoe and it's just cardboard! Please do not buy if you are not a professional dancer, and if you cannot get them, get real pointe shoes.

They are very easy to break in, with a medium shank making it very easy to get the right arch. I've been dancing en pointe for 20 years and 7 of them and the price couldn't be better. The only thing I foresee is that they would wear out faster because they are so easy to break in, but as I only do this to maintain my flexibility and don't do shows and classes with them they are perfect. You might need sturdier shoes like fleas or capezios if you're into shows, but if you're a dumbass like me…

First, don't buy pointe shoes for your kids unless they're trained to wear them. All in all a pretty good shoe for the price, great with a suit, maybe classy and definitely a break on the wallet compared to $100 shoes that you wear after a few weeks.
