This amp sucks! for amplifier

I got the first amplifier, 3 days after installation the amplifier started to smoke. So I removed and replaced it. I received a new replacement and 1 day after installation the amp was completely out of order. Turns on but no sound. I installed my original amp and everything works fine. Don't waste your time with this amp!

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Expensive insurance

NOT 4000 watts. But pretty good

This amp actually puts out around 800W RMS, which is actually pretty good for the price. Make sure it doesn't get too hot and don't put it on a box, the vibration will loosen the solder and you'll end up with a big paperweight. The company says "4000 watts," but that's the MAXIMUM and likely powered by a 15V battery, which isn't found in any car.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Not sure

Nice amp for a sub.

Wanted something simple to power a Sony subwoofer and it finally worked. After setting everything up and having the remote where I wanted it. Now I have a nice clean sound for my car. I will definitely buy again. Update - 09/17/2021 - the amp is still working with no problems. Run it on a 12" drive and tune it to 40Hz. Ready to buy again.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • weak

Little beast for car and vehicle electronics

I had 3 of these. Not because one of them exploded. That's because I've used them in almost every subwoofer project I've done in the last 6 years. The amp is small but still pounds. I used it to push through a ten. A few dozen. A pair of 12s and a 15. Never let me down. When performance meets price, it couldn't be better. This is my favorite subwoofer amp.

Pros
  • Everything is great!
Cons
  • For pensioners

I was skeptical - but it's pounds!

I'm 49 years old, I'm an adult, I have stereos in almost all cars. I'm a fan of JL Audio. However, I blew 12 of them and smoked out my 1000 watt candy bar. It took 5 cars and about 12 years but I made it. I walked into the store and couldn't believe the price of this amp. I thought WTF I'll try. I put it in my single cab Chevy Silverado. I connected eight eights (double VC) in parallel in series. Adjusting JL audio components for mids, bass and tweets

Pros
  • The best
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Cheap but not good.

If you're looking for a beginner's amp for beginners, then I think it's ok. But for everything else stay away. I have this amp with two 2 ohm Skar Audio 8" subwoofers and it sounds like crap. There is no way this amp can go beyond 180W RMS. , I use speaker input. Also at high volume it sounds very weak no matter where the gain I've found that the bass actually decreases at high volumes to the point where my door and rear speakers overwhelm the subwoofers. This is ridiculous. Save your money for

Pros
  • A dream come true
Cons
  • There are more interesting options.
