It was a Christmas present for my brother. My mother in law has one and I think it's the coolest. We hear something on the phone, but sometimes we don't hear it. To hear something from the phone we sometimes use the speaker jack, which requires us to remove the cover from the phone. With this device this is much easier. I also got one for Christmas. I'm so happy. I've already made up my mind to get one after Christmas.

I tried this product with little expectation. I like listening to podcasts on my iPad while driving, but my car stereo isn't connected, so the volume on the iPad is often too low for road noise. This product more than met all my needs! It runs on AA batteries or can be powered from a USB port. It turns off to save energy. It also has a headphone jack to plug into, rather than just plugging into a speaker like you're seeing on some products on TV. Now I can hear everything clearly. I am so happy

There are times when I want to listen to audiobooks, podcasts, etc. without headphones, earbuds, or a large speaker system. This small, very portable device makes it possible. I'll take it on vacation to listen to whatever I want on my phone in hotel rooms without having to deal with radios and "docking stations" that never seem to work. Inductive microphone loudspeakers are not really the best sound you will find. I first discovered this technology in a hotel room where there was an alarm clock version of this technology. I was immediately intrigued. Between alarm clocks that are always into tech and adequate sound (adequate, not good) this was exactly what I was looking for in a speaker with background noise / shower speaker, bedroom bedside speaker. YES it really works, I was skeptical too when I first got it. Such a great product for the price! Certainly not the best sounding speakers, but for $10 I'm definitely impressed. Hmm. I almost returned the thing but fiddled with it until it sang. It's a bit tricky and mostly hit or miss. It's quite noisy at times, but a little movement in one direction and you've got nothing. I've found that turning my phone upside down and placing the phone's speaker at an angle to the soundboard's speaker works a little better. It doesn't work at all as they put it in the picture which is right in the middle. The sound seems to fade after a while, like after a song. I charged it first

1) It worked fine with my iPhone (although the cable that came with it didn't work at all). Unfortunately, I don't have many audio files on my iPhone. 2) On my Android phone it only worked when I placed the device at a slightly dangerous angle. 3) I have several audio players (like the Sansa Clip) that don't have speakers and used the cable that came with them.
