Hmm. I almost returned the thing but fiddled with it until it sang. It's a bit tricky and mostly hit or miss. It's quite noisy at times, but a little movement in one direction and you've got nothing. I've found that turning my phone upside down and placing the phone's speaker at an angle to the soundboard's speaker works a little better. It doesn't work at all as they put it in the picture which is right in the middle. The sound seems to fade after a while, like after a song. I charged it first with the included power cords, but the green light never came on. When I put the batteries in, the light came on. I had to adjust the volume of the device several times. It holds papers very well on my desk. Good, but certainly not the best.
