Great for gigabyte mobos

I have a gigabyte mobo and it has a place to plug in a buzzer. I often disassemble my computer to clean dust, and sometimes I forget to reconnect one of the fan connectors. in. Well, with a combination of buzzer and motherboard bios setting, you can activate it when the mobo detects 0 RPM or no voltage on the pins. Well, I also like that *beep* when your computer turns on, letting you know the system has been published successfully. So far there are no problems with the buzzer and everything…

Inexpensive in this case means cheap

When we were building a new system, my wife saw it and thought it would be nice if there was a loudspeaker in the housing. (My Antec case doesn't have one.) I ordered them and installed them on a Gigabyte X299 Designare EX motherboard during assembly in my Antec P100 case. I was struggling with other issues at the time and couldn't hear a thing, but my wife complained about the system's loud high-pitched hum. When I finally tracked down the noise, it was one of those little speakers. Needless…

So it buzzes well for computers and accessories

Great little buzzer to use with your motherboard if it doesn't come with one. The little wires are moveable if you use a little care; All you have to do is gently lift the small plastic tab that the wire fits into and ends inside the black connector. This was necessary for me because my buzzer lines were on pins 2 and 3, not 1 and 4. This is a delicate operation though, so be careful. The build quality is reasonable. Not the prettiest, especially if you go for an AESTHETIC case design and a…

I can top that up.

When I broke my flimsy OEM speaker in the case, I was fine at first. But then I noticed. What should I do if my water pump for my computer's cooling system fails? What if I don't know and it's too late? So I go to Revain and look for a speaker. I find these awesome little ones with HOT CLAM on the back so the solder doesn't come loose like my old one did. They have a nice tinny but deeper sound, at least to me. They beep when I turn on the computer and I love it. If you build computers, this is

Buzzers not beeping properly

I received these bios alarm beeps today to install on two PCs and none of them work properly. I connected each buzzer to PC #1 and the only time it beeped was when I cycled the power. The buzzer gave a deep beep. It didn't beep when I started the PC by pressing the power button on the front like my other two PCs do. PC #2 found the same problem. I replaced an existing good buzzer on another PC that beeps every time the PC is turned on and got the same result. These new buzzers just made a soft…

Speaker for BIOS beeps (audio debugger)

: Seems to work on a newer motherboard with higher pitched beeps. 1 run changed to 4. It is used on my pc with daily driver. I have mixed feelings as to why it works on some mobos and not others. older: (not deleted below, new update above) I didn't like the product. The audio was too low, barely audible except from 3 inches away, and nothing was blocking it. Complete uselessness. I don't feel the need to return it as I will try to use a plastic connection/cable and add a better or bigger…

Pros
  • Useful not only for its intended purpose
Cons
  • There are other interesting options. Update

When you press the power button to turn on your computer, you begin the complex process of waking up your system. When a computer wakes up, it doesn't yet know that it's a computer. When you turn it on, your system first checks and reports on all the important hardware elements that make it a computer. Geeks call this process POST or POWER ON SELF TEST! Shortly after POST, the kernel that runs the operating system starts and your operating system comes to life. All this little thing says is…

  • Repair

I assemble computers myself: I buy various components (case, motherboard, power supply, processor, graphics cards, etc.), then I assemble everything. If you build a computer this way, it will never have its own speaker. I have several, but I've always missed the simple little speaker that usually comes with the box because switching an external set of speakers from one to another is a nuisance. This is the perfect solution to this problem. That way I can still go to You Tube product demos and…
