Not disappointed.: Car Audio

Despite the reviews stating that the maximum RMS value is 650 I am satisfied. Don't need much bass above 200W. Turned off, works fine even though the temperature inside the car is 100.

Pros
  • Pulse Width Modulated MOSFET Power Supply
Cons
  • Quality

Great bang for the buck.

I have to say I am impressed with this amplifier. It does get a bit warm at times, but that happens when the subwoofer is running for a long time. May cause interference with regular radio but not a problem if you have satellite, CD, AUX or Bluetooth.

Pros
  • Class d Picasso Nano Series Monoblock Car Amplifier
Cons
  • Reliability

Good sound, kills radio reception.

This amplifier sounds very good. I'm using a pair of DVC Infinity Reference 1062W 1 ohm subwoofers with no problems. Barely warm. The problem with this amp is that it violates Part 15 of the FCC Rules. You no longer get good radio reception. This is due to the switching frequency of the Class D amplifier components and is built into the design. Seriously, before you buy this, google "Soundstream FM Interference". If you're not into radio then this is a great little amp. I am sending this back.

Pros
  • Input sensitivity: 200mV - 6V
Cons
  • Almost everything there
