This duvet came packaged in a zipped bag and I thought it must be a lot thinner than I thought but then I opened it and noticed that it was also vacuum sealed in another bag. Very light. Consider a parachute with a heavier filler. It doesn't look or feel cheap as you might think. It looks and feels very different. I bought the California King and it fits great. The pads fit perfectly. I bought the gray one and if you look at the picture the smallest dials on the cover next to the big ones have a subtle gold color which is beautiful in person.
