Don't worry. waste of money and time. It literally blew out after 5-6 uses (with a small air compressor). Cheap. The inner spring that connects to the tip of the adapter is copper instead of steel. The source collapsed and literally almost burned out. Just look at the photos. I will rate 0 stars and possibly ask for a refund, but unfortunately this window is now closed. OK. Now you know the facts. Garbage.

I used this to replace the plug on my car tire inflator/compressor that broke in my desk drawer. It has short wires already fitted with small crimp connectors at the ends. I cut off the old connector, tinned the ends of the wires, put 3 pieces of shrink tubing on two wires and one cable, crimped them into connectors and soldered them for a more reliable connection. I then used heat shrink tubing to insulate each connector, with another piece wrapped around the two wires. I like the red LED that

I have a very nice 12 volt automotive compressor with a tire pressure gauge that can be built in or used on its own. The thing worked great but the cigarette lighter part seemed cheaply made and fell apart when the fuse in my minivan blew. Since it is a powerful compressor, most additional adapters had cables that were too thin and cheap. This one has thick, high capacitance wires, so I was able to cut the old one off, solder this on, and cover any exposed wires with heat shrink tubing. Ready…
