It's a very clean, minimalist design and I love it, but the edge of the surface started to wear off within a few days. Since I keep my iPad in this case covered by a soft case it's amazing that this happened. This is the second time I've bought the exact same case because I love it so much. The first worked MIRACLES. My 3 year old coonhound decided to completely chew through my iPad (case and screen protector) and thanks to this case what could have been SERIOUS damage to my iPad Mini turned out to be literally a small scratch. I originally bought the Otterbox case as it was supposed to be the best in the business but the case started after less than falling apart a year. I've used a Speck case on my iPhone before with great success (it fell on a hard pavement and it's like it never happened), so I decided to try it on my iPad. We were not disappointed - the case is excellent. Protects my iPad and automatically wakes up when opening and closing (unlike the Otterbox case I bought). Definitely recommend.
