Blue Speck ToughSkin Case for iPod classic 4th Generation Review

After 2 weeks of owning this case I am very glad I bought it. I feel like my iPod is now completely secure. This is very important to me as I'm very picky about my stuff. (especially small electronic ones) It's a bit bulky, sure, but that's the price I'm willing to pay for a rock-solid iPod. I have 20GB and it fits perfectly.

I dropped my TouchSkin iPod from the top of the Stairmaster (about 8 feet) onto the concrete floor without damaging my beloved iPod at all. enter and exit. The only complaint (and a small one) is that the plastic "doors" over the opening don't close well. In fact, I've already lost the steering wheel's opening cover. This can be more hassle than they are worth.

The wheel guard is a plastic cap that prevents your iPod from being used while it is attached. The sturdy leather is so thick and bulky that unless you pull out your knife and scissors like I did, your Itrip won't fit. It only took me a few minutes to cut off enough of the excess to fit. The hard skin is rubbery and thick, but not so thick that the iPod looks clunky or odd. The belt clip is useless. It just spins like crazy. Not a bad product but I really wish they would say it's not compatible

I tested many cases for my iPod Photo before deciding on the Toughskin case. This leather is really durable and protects all important surfaces. The leather is almost tire rubber, it feels so strong you get hard bumpers on all corners. There is a belt clip on the back which I honestly don't use at all. I wouldn't trust my iPod hanging from a plastic clip. Front clear plastic window which I don't use either. Ordinary glass is so beautiful and clear that I hate to "blunt" this image by putting…
