Installed and no problems from this post. Some aftermarket heater cores use special connectors that must be purchased. Not this one, just connect the hoses directly as instructed by the manufacturer.

Replacing it was a NIGHTMARE! The seller had a great price and the heater core works great! The removal and installation is VW's poor design, not the seller's fault. As soon as we returned it (almost 12 hours of work) it worked perfectly!

It took about 6 hours to remove the dashboard to replace my broken heater core. Only to find out that this Spectra Premium 94730 radiator that was sent to me was the wrong one. /not correct! It didn't even come close to my original.

Fits like OEM but no vacuum hole like HVAC box. I would advise doing this before installing it on the car and comparing the old core to make a hole for the vacuum hose or not need it.

.Until today when I was stuck in traffic and it exploded and sprayed boiling coolant all over my legs. Some dandy bubbles that I tried to upload a photo of but couldn't. 4+ years, about 10,000 miles It was a very painstaking installation job, but it fit perfectly and worked great. Til today.

Purchased for my Audi A4 Q 99. Molding under the pipes prevents this unit from sitting flush with the fan box assembly - sits 1/8" higher in the pipe area. I only took off 2 stars for this reason as I don't know if it's leaking or something but it's a showstopper for me. I can't afford to dismantle the whole dashboard again. The quality seemed good.

Item arrived quickly and was packaged nicely with Prime in addition to the 12 hour exchange (first heat exchanger replacement). It was a great alternative to a store that wanted $200 just for a heater core! The only thing I had to do to make the product fit was remove the plastic bottom from the core. The heater now works great, no leaks.

The plastic hose on my mother's VW Jetta broke on the bulkhead, so the heater core had to be replaced to solve the problem. The work itself is a pain, the entire dash has to be removed to access the heater core. The dash is no more difficult than the other dashboards I've removed, but getting it right is a tedious task. This piece is exactly the same as the original and looks just as good as the original. I hope I never have to change the heater core again.
